yarnivore bites VK Live!

Oh the glory of a knitting convention!  Classes, tutorials, yarn, needles, bags, yarn, patterns, demonstrations and more yarn!  a-mazing.  Alamitos Bay Yarn Company had a booth at Vogue Knitting Live Los Angeles and I was able to work the show and shop the show and do demonstrations at the show and sell yarn at the show and buy yarn at the show and Yarn Bomb the show.  I was gobsmacked to see that I was the only bomber to grace the Hyatt Regency in Century City with some yarny goodness. Fun was had by all and I can hardly wait for next year, maybe, just maybe we will see a call to knitterly arms with more yarny decorations...delicious.

Hello!

What a great blog you have about yarn bombing! I recently heard about
it from a friend of mine and I'm so intrigued to know more!!! I'm a
college student at Cal State Long Beach and am currently working on my
BA in Journalism. In my magazine production class I have to write a
feature story of my choice and I picked Yarn Bombing!! I think it's
so beautiful and such a great way to brighten up our city. Who doesn't
like it.... I can't help but smile every time I see it:)

Anyway, I was wondering if I could interview you? I'm interested in
knowing how you got started and your reasons for partaking in this
movement. If it's ok with you, we could email back and forth if that's
easiest or we can talk on the phone.

Please let me know your thoughts... thanks!

Kim
